We are a stable cohort of 12 to 14 families. All families agree to our “best practices” when they join our group and we respectfully ask that compliance to the Science backed protocol is followed. 

Parents agree to:

• limit their interactions with the greater population

• follow City and State mandates for Covid safe interactions

• keep their children home when sick

• wear a mask when interacting with others

• offer full transparency with their daily lives with regards to Covid consciousness.

We have adjusted our program to eliminate riding public transit, multiple daily temperature checks for children and staff and rigorous hand hygiene. 

All NVFC staff have been fully vaccinated against Covid 19.

In addition, our school is well ventilated (we also use Hepa air filtration) with ample space for spacious naps and meals. We strive to spend even more time outdoors than usual and to that end, each family provides a wardrobe that allows children to be outdoors even with inclement weather. Children are encouraged to wear masks when we are out and about.

We are happy to operate in a community that values vaccination, mask wearing and backs Science. We closed briefly for shelter in place in March 2020 and successfully reopened without any issues.
